Mini Ballet, Junior Ballet, and Intermediate Ballet & Jazz

This spring, Vancouver Performing Stars will be running dance classes at Moberly on Tuesday afternoons: Mini Ballet for ages 3-5, Junior Ballet for ages 5-7, and Intermediate Ballet & Jazz for ages 7-10!

Mini Ballet | 3:45pm-4:30pm | 3-5 yrs
VPS Ballet classes lay the foundation for graceful movement for young dancers while sparking their imagination! Dancers will work on developing coordination, rhythm, and musical expression. Through playful exercises and creative movement, dancers learn ballet fundamentals in an encouraging environment. Students gain confidence and independence as they attend class on their own. Ballet shoes and attire required.

Junior Ballet | 4:30pm-5:15pm | 5-7 yrs
Develop strength, grace, and artistry through classical ballet training. Students master essential techniques while exploring their own creative expression through movement. Each class builds flexibility, coordination, and fluid motion -creating well-rounded dancers ready to shine. From foundational skills to choreography, dancers of all experience levels will grow and thrive. Ballet shoes and attire required.

Intermediate Ballet & Jazz | 5:15-6:00pm | 7-10 yrs
In this class, dancers will learn essential jazz and ballet techniques every performer should know. Along with learning choreography, dancers will be encouraged to explore their own creative expression and learn how to dance with a fluid movement quality, while strengthening their flexibility and coordination skills. Previous dance experience is welcome, but not required.
