Martin Sparrow, respected elder, carver, storyteller and fish smoker from Musqueam Indian Band is launching a carving project at Moberly Garden. Join us to learn about Musqueam carving traditions, meet Martin, and give your thoughts on the design, colors and animals included in Martin’s carving! This event is part of a series that will continue over the summer, as Martin completes a spindlewhorl and new seating in the garden.
This event is hosted in collaboration with Earthseed Collective at Moberly Fieldhouse with funding provided by the City of Vancouver.
