Come join Lori Snyder and Sara Ross for a evening sit with tea and learn about Indigenous plants and their importance for our ‘winged’ friends. We will meet at the Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre to gather around the Medicine Wheel garden as Sara and Lori share their knowledge of native plants and our native bird species. Meet our resident Anna’s hummingbird, Anita, our nesting Flickers, many species of small birds and possibly witness the roaming hawks who sometimes come to feast. Lori Snyder is an Indigenous Herbalist and Red Sara teaches about Bird Language and Nature Connection. What wisdom do indigenous birds and plants have to share with those who will listen? Join us to see and hear for yourself. Participants are encouraged to bring, binoculars, blanket or chair, and tea cup.
